The most unique and exotic one.
The honeydew honey is more than the spectacular work of bees; it is the work of Bees and Aphids.
The most unique part of it – it doesn’t contain any flower pollen!
Honeydew (not to be confused with the fruit) honey is a rich, sticky liquid secreted by aphids (plant lice) and some scale insects as they feed on plant sap. When their needle-like mouthparts penetrate the phloem of a plant, the pressurised sap shoots into their food canal, forcing the previously ingested sap out the other end. This secreted sap is then collected by the honey bees to be cultivated into honey.
Oligosaccharides are found in the honey, which have high prebiotic activity that contributes a lot to treating intestinal issues.
The high concentration of antioxidants in this honey variety also assists in the removal of free radicals and lessens the damage caused by them.
Get addicted to this light and mellow taste of this pollen-free honey and discover the wonders of it!
